Hello and welcome to Manchester Hillwalker’s blog. I’m Phil Worsley and as you might have guessed my blog is an account of my adventures in the hills, both here in the U.K. and further afield.  In addition to this account of my hillwalking days there are also references on general hillwalking stuff.

I am a member of a local South Manchester walking club and also of the Rambler’s Association. I walk with my local club and with other groups including Ramblers but I also walk independently.  My home base gives me quick access to the Peak District, Snowdonia and the Lake District and I can usually be found on most weekends, and sometimes midweek, tramping about in one of these areas.

If, as I do, you love the hills, then please visit my blog again for news, notes and images from my hillwalking trips.
